Q:
What is your make-up policy?
A:
Space permitting, missed classes may be made up anytime during
the current 8 -week session. You may use your make-up in ANY
age-appropriate class and make-ups may be transferred between
siblings. To schedule a make-up, please call our office to
reserve a space. When possible, please let us know in advance
if your child will be missing a class. You can only schedule
a make-up one week in advance of when you intend to come in.
All scheduled make-ups will be final and will count as used
whether you attend or not unless you call out absent in advance
of the class.
Q:
What is your cancellation policy?
A:
For children enrolled in a class for
6 weeks or longer, pro-rated refunds are given. The
office must be notified in writing before the third week of
the session to receive a refund. Therefore, if there are less
than 5 weeks left in a class, no refund will be given.
Q:
What if my child is not feeling well?
A:
If your child
is showing the following symptoms of illness, or if they have
been diagnosed with any infectious diseases, we ask that you
keep your child home. Examples of symptoms include:
- A
fever within the past 24 hours
- Diarrhea
- Nausea
or Vomiting
- A
constant runny nose or cough not caused by allergies
- A
rash that has not been checked by a doctor
Once
your child has fully recovered, and is no longer a cause of
concern for the health and safety
of our children, parents and staff, please call
us to schedule your make-ups.
Q:
If my infant is asleep in his carrier, can I bring
him into my older daughter's class?
A:
Yes
and no. We allow sleeping infants, in carriers, up to 3 months
old to be brought into an older sibling's class. Should
your infant begin to cry, we ask that you bring your other
child with you to drop the infant off in the playcenter and
then return to class with your older child. After 3
months of age, all siblings must stay in the playcenter. Our
playcenter is staffed to accommodate all children up to the
age of 7years old.
Q:
At what age can I drop my child off?
A:
Our drop-off
classes are only for those children aged 3-5 years.
We ask that parents stay on-site in our comfortable parent
lounge during the duration of our “drop-off” classes.
Q:
My friend would like to try a class. Can she
use one of my make-ups?
A:
Make-ups
only transfer between siblings. Your friend can drop-in
to one of our classes for a drop-in fee.
Q:
If I am currently registered in a class, am I guaranteed
a space in the same class for the following session?
A:
No. To secure your space you must re-register
either on-line or by calling our office. Families currently
registered in classes are notified when a new schedule is
available several days before a general e-mail blast is sent
out.
Q:
Can another member of my family come to class?
A:
Absolutely!!
Any adult family member can attend class with you.
Siblings over the age of 7 are welcome as long as they
are well behaved and participate as a “role model” in class.
Q:
Where can I change my child's diaper?
A:
We ask you
to use either of the changing tables that can be found in
our bathrooms. Please refrain from changing diapers
in our Meadow or Art Room or in the entrance hall.
Q:
What is the play center?
A:
This
is our sibling care service offered when classes are in session.
This allows you to attend class with one child
while the sibling is cared for in the play center.
There is a fee for this service and you must call in advance
to reserve a spot as space is limited.
The reason we have the play
center is to provide a convenience to parents with siblings
so that they don't have to coordinate outside childcare. Most
importantly, we hope that Mom, Dad or caregiver can focus
in on the one child who is taking the class while the sibling
is playing in the playcenter. Also, the play center
keeps the class from loosing its focus if a second child starts
to cry or needs attention.
Q:
Can I drop in to try any class?
A:
Sure! We would love for you to try out a class.
Please call ahead!! Unfortunately due to enrollment some classes
may be at their limit. We do not take drop-ins or make-ups
in full classes. You may call an hour before a class
to see if any child has called out absent. In this
case we may make an exception.
Q:
Where can I park?
A:
We offer free parking in our lot located katty-corner
from our building. The entrance is on Blackhawk and
we kindly ask that you park in the designated Bubbles Academy
spaces. Alternatively, street parking is available.
Parking Permits are now required to park in the Bubbles Academy
Lot. If you have not already done so, please stop by the front
office to register
your car, by giving us your make, model, color and license
plate number of the registered car in exchange for a permit
sticker.
Q:
What is Bunch o' Bubbles?
A:
This is our open play
time and a great opportunity to meet other moms and make new
friends!! There is a charge for Bunch o'
Bubbles and a discount for siblings. Please see our
current schedule for times and prices .
