Bubbles Academy Preschool offers Fall (September), Winter (January) , and Summer (June) start dates, with rolling admissions throughout the year, pending availability in each class program. Priority consideration is given to full day enrollments, and students who have completed our Preschool Older Twos and/or Preschool Prep: Gentle Separation program.
Applications are open to join the semester in progress and
for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year.

Bubbles Academy’s educational philosophy of arts-integration combines content and skills taken from arts practices including dance, music, theatre and visual arts, with developmentally appropriate, early childhood learning standards and socio-emotional skills.

Using an arts-integrated approach, the children work towards mastering emotional and social development, physical skills such as fine, gross and sensorimotor as well as the ability to self-regulate. Other targeted skills include adaptive social behavior such as appreciating diversity, mastering self-efficacy, self-control and emotional expression.

The teacher’s role in the classroom is that of facilitator and co-explorer; offering open-ended questions, child-centered activities, reflection and positive discipline to provide solid preparation for life-long love of learning. Bubbles Academy’s team has a rich background in the fine arts and early childhood education training. Our teachers are truly attuned to each child’s individual needs and developmental abilities.

Why A Nature Playground?
A nature playground is different from a traditional playground in that it uses natural and open ended materials to facilitate and inspire play.
- Natural play helps children connect to and engage with the natural world
- Naturalized learning and play environments help children develop intellectual, emotional, social and cognitive skills (a playground for Whole Child Development)
- Opportunities for immersive natural play are shown to increase creativity, problem solving, and reduce stress.
- This playground will also facilitate social interaction and problem solving in that it will provide not just a structure for students to play on, but many open-ended, natural materials for students to play with, reshaping and recreating the playground as they interact with it.
